Wrapzilla Launches Scratch-Free Superbike Transport Straps
Johannesburg, South Africa — Motorcycle owners now have a safer, smarter way to transport their superbikes, thanks to Wrapzilla’s new scratch-free polyester webbing straps and rear-wheel tie-downs.
The system, demonstrated here with a Suzuki GSX-R secured to a trailer, combines UV-resistant polyester ratchet straps with protective soft loops designed to eliminate paint damage, frame scratches, and wheel scuffs during transit.
Unlike traditional tie-downs that rely on hooks pressing against delicate bike parts, Wrapzilla’s setup distributes pressure evenly across reinforced anchor points. The rear-wheel strap locks the bike’s wheel in place without straining the swingarm, while the front straps, looped through soft webbing, hold the forks securely against a wheel chock.
“Superbike riders invest a lot in their machines,” a Wrapzilla spokesperson explained. “Our goal was to design straps tough enough for long-haul stability, yet gentle enough to keep the bike showroom-ready.”
Made from high-tenacity polyester webbing, the straps resist stretching, water absorption, and UV degradation. With load capacities exceeding 1,000 kg, they’re built for peace of mind whether riders are trailering to a racetrack, workshop, or weekend getaway.
Early adopters in the racing and superbike community say the straps deliver confidence on the road. One rider noted, “The rear-wheel strap is a game-changer—no shifting, no scratches, just rock-solid stability.”
With Wrapzilla’s solution, South African riders no longer have to choose between security and protection. The system is now available nationwide in 25 mm, 35 mm, and 50 mm webbing sizes, with optional soft loops for handlebars and rear grab rails.
